COCOLAND is the new member that I added into my investment portfolio in year 2017,
however the financial result is not very satisfying lately,
so I didn't feel like buying more shares at the moment.......
Revenue dropped, so as the profit.
Let's have a look at the segmental revenue:
The problems are local market and Middle East market.
As for the declining revenue,
explanation from management:
It is said that revenue declined was mainly due to lower demand from beverage and hard candy products.
Actually the beverage is mainly manufacturing for F&N,
so looking at the local market performance of F&N,
I already not putting any expectation at this segment.......
Good news is that there are higher sales growth of gummy and chocolate products in Vietnam, South Korea and China markets.
Also,
seems like Cocoland having a lot of cash in fixed deposit.
Boss, any plan to distribute more dividend?
More dividend then we will have more money to buy candies, help to boost the sales....
Or any plan for shares buy back?
It is said that rise in material prices will be expected to continue for remainder of 2017.
How after after that?
Sugar price dropped a lot if compare with early 2017 though.....
Investment is all about doing own thinking, making own decision.
Thanks for reading.
I don't provide any buying/selling suggestion above,
please make your own investment decision and be responsible with it.
